Why Writing Services as a Virtual Assistant?

The simple answer: because I’m a writer.

While my heart will always belong to short story writing, I’ve found the most job-related enjoyment in the quiet moments of creating training guides, updating email templates, and drafting blog posts.

I’ve been running my personal blog for many years, and it has seen several iterations, though it has always been an intimate conversation between myself and the reader on the other end. There’s no pretense, just conversation. I share what I’m reading, what I’m working on, and sometimes I share what I’m struggling with. I always hold my readers close to my heart, even when I need to step away for a period of time.

Words on paper have always been my preferred method of communication. Even as a child, I’d write letters to my parents to express my feelings when I wasn’t able to say them. Sometimes, I would fill out the information cards in every magazine my mom had just because I enjoyed the action of writing.

And though I love words and paper (or screen), I know not everyone does. For some, the process of typing a letter or blog post is tedious and not enjoyable. They know what they want to see; they may know what they want to read or the message they want to communicate, but they don’t have the time or desire to write it.

That’s where I come in.

“Writing” was the first service category I thought of when I decided to move forward with offering VA services, and it’s the first thing I want to offer you.

Do you have templates that need to be written or updated? Policies & procedures? Blog posts? Newsletters?

Let me write that for you!

Send me a message and let’s see how I can assist you with your writing needs.

Next time, I’ll tell you a little about my love for colors and design.
